How Do Pigeons Fly?
Some thoughts…
"They flap their wings."
"Feathers are so light, so they can fly."
"The wind blows them and they flap their wings."
"They jump up and flap their wings."
"Thrust is a force of wind that pushes up, which lifts the bird up."
"Wind blows the bird up so it can fly."
"Air pushes under the wings. The air takes them off, but flapping the wings doesn't make them fly. That doesn't make sense."
"With wings!"
